PatchMon - SMTP Notification Settings

How it works

Everything you need to know, at a glance.

Your server, your policy

Configure host, port, from and to addresses, and optional username and password. PatchMon defaults to port 587 and negotiates STARTTLS with TLS 1.2+ when the server supports it.

  • Custom SMTP host and port
  • Optional plain authentication
  • STARTTLS with implicit TLS fallback when needed
  • Separate from and to for routing and aliases

Alerts and scheduled reports

Use the same notification channels as webhooks: fleet events, pending updates, and scheduled report digests can all go to a mailing list or ticketing inbox.

  • HTML email body with escaped content
  • Subject line includes severity
  • Metadata included for automation parsers
  • Mix with Slack, Discord, and generic webhooks
